VDF Query

Power users will appreciate the advanced VDF Query technology that allows you to create your own reports and/or export any data from The Farmer’s Office!

• Select any fields in any files to print on report.

• Numeric fields can be totaled and subtotaled.

• Specify multiple selection criteria to get the exact data you want.

• Specify the order in which you want the data to be printed.

• Select "break" fields to calculate subtotals.

• Report can be output to any Windows-supported printer, previewed on screen, or output (export)  to a file.

• Report file formats include comma or line delimited (suitable for import into spreadsheets or other programs), ASCII formatted, or HTML file.

• Reports definitions generated in VDF Query can be saved so that you can print the same report later.

VDF Query is built-in to The Farmer's Office and handles simple custom reports and data export.  For generating more sophisticated reports, the popular report writer software Crystal Reports can be purchased separately and used with The Farmer's Office.
