The Shipper’s Office is a complete, integrated
accounting system designed for the unique requirements of
fresh produce shippers, packers and
distributors. The
Shipper’s Office includes Order Entry, Sales Inventory, Grower Accounting, Invoicing
(Grower, Buy/Sell, and Brokerage), Accounts Payable, Produce Payables, Accounts Payable,
Payroll, and General Ledger. Optional modules are available for Repacking, Pallet Tag Inventory, Packout Reports/Bulk Inventory, Cost Accounting, Pool Accounting,
Cold Storage Billing, and Lot Grower Accounting.
The Shipper's Office provides a high degree of integration
between related modules. The concept of "one time data entry" is a key feature.
For instance, grower statements are printed automatically from the information entered in
order entry/invoicing, payables invoicing and check writing. And the optional Pallet Tag
Inventory system allows you to automatically confirm and/or correct invoice details by
checking the grower, lot, and products on pallet tags against what was entered on the
invoice.
Accurate accounting of sales for your growers is
critical for produce shipping operations. The Shipper's Office offers
an array of options for producing grower settlements (liquidation reports)
for your growers, including date-based, lot-based, and pool-based grower
accounting reports. Grower charges (deductions) can be generated
automatically (for instance, in/out charges, cartons, etc.) as well as
recorded when paying bills in Accounts Payable.
In addition to the standard features of The Shipper's

General System Requirements
The Shipper's Office can be used on a standalone Windows 2000, XP,
or Vista computer or on a network.
For networks, a Windows 2000 Server or 2003 Server may be used along with Windows
2000, XP or Vista workstations. The Shipper's Office is fully compatible
with Microsoft's Terminal Services technology for providing remote access.
The Shipper's Office works with either GFI's FAXMaker and
Tobit's FaxWare fax servers
to automatically fax Notifications of Shipment (passings),
statements, and invoices to your customers.
Laser and ink jet printers are used for reports while impact (dot matrix)
printers may be used for forms printing (bills of lading, invoices, Canadian
Confirmations, etc.)

Pricing for The Shipper's Office starts
at $6,490 for a single user license that includes Order Entry, Sales
Inventory, Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, Grower Liquidations by Date,
Accounts Payable, General Ledger. Additional options are available
