The evaluation version of The Farmer's Office is a full working copy that you can install on your computer and try out for 30 days. When you purchase The Farmer's Office, we will provide you with an access code that allows you to enter your company name and removes the 30-day trial period limitation. You don't have to reinstall the program and you can keep any data that you have already entered. (If you install the trial version but don't have a chance to fully evaluate it within the 30 day period, you can uninstall the program through the Windows Add/Remove Programs icon on the Control Panel and then re-install it to start another 30-day trial period. However, if you do this any data you have entered will be deleted when the program is uninstalled.) Since the installation program is 38Mb, a broadband connection (cable modem/DSL/T1/wireless/etc.) is recommended. Download time estimates are provided for dialup connections. If you have a broadband connection, download times should be no more than 5-10 minutes. If you don't want to take the time to download the evaluation copy or if you are having difficulty downloading it, we'll be more than happy to send you an easy to install copy on CD-ROM. Just send us email (sales@DatatechAg.com) with your name, address and phone number or call our toll free number, (888) 222-DATA to request the CD-ROM. Download/Installation InstructionsClick here to begin downloading the installation file. Installation/Tutorial Manual Download the Installation/Tutorial manual by clicking here. This manual is provided in Adobe Acrobat format (PDF) so you will need the Acrobat Reader software to view or print it. Download Tips If your browser does not automatically start saving the file, or ask you where you want to save it, you may need to right click on the above link and select the "Save Link As..." option. The filename is SETUP.EXE. Remember where you save this file, because you'll need to run it once you have downloaded it. For example, if you download it to your C: drive, you need to click on Start, select Run..., and type in "C:\SETUP.EXE". One easy way to do it is to download the file to your Desktop. When the file is done downloading, you will see an icon appear on the Windows desktop, and you can simply double click on the icon to begin the installation. When the installation is done, you can right-click on the icon and select "Delete" to remove it. Different versions of Windows will have different methods of selecting the Desktop. Usually, when the Save File dialog window comes up, you can click on the "Save in:" drop-down list at the top and select Desktop at the top of the list. In Windows 2000/XP, you can also click on the Desktop icon on the left hand side, as shown below: |
